Logistics and Transportation Company in Afghanistan!
KGC teamed up with ANHAM, a multi-national American Company, on a big project called Prime Vendor (PV) as ANHAM local partner in Afghanistan in April 2011. Under this teaming agreement, KGC will supply assets to ANHAM in support of the PV project. In addition KGC will build together with ANHAM a big Yard in the South of Afghanistan in the province of Kandahar to build large cold storages and dry warehouses. This work is going to be completed within the next three months. The progress can be seen in the pictures on this page. The good news is that ANHAM is awarded the project of PV in the month of June 2012 by the United States Government. This has been a big victory to ANHAM and its partners – including KGC – to win such a large project. ANHAM and its partners are now speeding up the work on infrastructure in support of PV. KGC is prepared to take on the upcoming load of work under PV with ANHAM, and we expect implementation of this project will begin during the first quarter of 2013.
In addition to above, under KGC agreement with ANHAM we are involved in the implementation of another transportation project called ‘National Afghanistan Trucking (NAT). This project was awarded to ANHAM by US Government. ANHAM engaged AFGS, another local partner of ANHAM in Afghanistan and AFGS contracted a portion of work under NAT to KGC. This work is on and off, but continues at stable pace.
